Job Description
Step into a rewarding special education role supporting K-5 learners as a full-time Resource Teacher for the upcoming school year. Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota teaching license with dual certification in special education (must provide PDF with application)
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Previous experience with K-5 students in resource or special education settings
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
- Ability to tailor instruction and accommodations to meet a range of student needs
Responsibilities:
- Direct instruction to K-5 students based on IEP specifications
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and school staff
- Regularly communicate with families regarding student progress and support strategies
- Maintain up-to-date records and case notes in compliance with state and district requirements
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and IEP conferences
