As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in students’ well-being, learning, and success throughout the academic year. Work with students, staff, and families to deliver essential mental health supports and contribute to the development of effective instructional strategies.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (NY state credential preferred)
  • Experience working with high school-age youth is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of student evaluations, counseling, IEPs, and behavioral interventions
  • Familiarity with CSE (Committee on Special Education) processes and 504 meetings
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the instructional support team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for students, providing comprehensive reports
  • Deliver direct and group counseling services
  • Participate actively in CSE and 504 meetings as a key resource for student support
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student learning
  • Work closely with the instructional support team to address academic and behavioral challenges

Position Details:

  • Full-time: 35 hours per week
  • Hours: 7:30 am – 2:20 pm
  • High school caseload
  • Contract runs the entire 2026-2027 school year
