Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) eligibility
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet students’ individual needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop tailored therapeutic interventions and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive educational experience
- Maintain documentation and comply with all school, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning student goals
