In this dynamic contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting student well-being throughout the academic year, spanning from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week serving as a Certified School Nurse, overseeing the health office, conducting comprehensive medical reviews, and engaging directly in IEP and 504 processes. Rather than dividing these tasks, you’ll perform them as cohesive functions of one impactful role—helping ensure every student receives consistent, compassionate care.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsement as a Certified School Nurse (CSN)—this is essential; RN licensure alone does not qualify
• Prior experience as a CSN strongly preferred
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency is highly valued
• Proven dependability, excellent attendance record, and strong initiative
• Demonstrated flexibility and a history of successful teamwork and collaboration
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and high ethical standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the health office, providing care and consultation
• Complete medical reviews for students
• Participate actively in IEP and 504 meetings, collaborating closely with educators and family members
• Maintain meticulous documentation and compliance with district policies
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students, staff, and families
