Make a difference in shaping young learners' futures as an Educational Diagnostician supporting enthusiastic 7th and 8th graders. This rewarding contract position begins August 3rd, 2026 and continues through May 27th, 2027, working full-time onsite at a supportive junior high campus. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated ARD facilitator and be instrumental in student assessment and ARD participation.

Key qualifications include:

  • Valid Educational Diagnostician endorsement (active and in good standing)
  • Experience working with middle school students is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and ARD processes
  • Strong collaborative and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a dynamic caseload of approximately 175-180 students
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and reevaluation assessments for referred students
  • Complete required documentation and reports in a timely, accurate manner
  • Participate in ARD meetings and help develop individualized education programs
  • Work closely with educators, families, and the campus ARD facilitator to help ensure student needs are met
  • Provide professional expertise and guidance on eligibility, assessment, and instructional planning
  • Monitor and track student progress as part of a supportive team environment
