Job Description
A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a significant impact across multiple school sites in a supportive, collaborative environment. This full-time, onsite contract spans the school year from August 17, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and offers a unique chance to join a district as they introduce the BCBA role for the first time.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience in educational settings, with both general and special education populations preferred
- Strong data-driven approach to behavior analysis and plan development
- Excellent collaboration skills, especially with multidisciplinary teams
- Capable of working independently across multiple school sites
- Previous experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and designing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Must submit an FBA sample (with confidential details redacted) and references
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavioral services to students at three different schools within the district
- Conduct observations in various classrooms, including emotional support settings
- Complete FBAs and develop individualized behavior plans for assigned students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to support team-based decisions
- Partner with teachers, school psychologists, and other staff for effective, data-informed interventions
