Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois SLP license and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement therapy plans for students with diverse communication disorders
- Skilled in IEP development, progress reporting, and multidisciplinary teamwork
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct student evaluations to determine communication strengths and areas of need
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect SLP services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop supports and accommodations
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of assessments, progress, and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student success
- Stay updated on best practices and current developments in speech-language pathology for school-aged populations
