Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify patients' clinical history, ensuring information is documented for practitioner access.
\n
• Prepare patients for procedures, providing instructions to ensure desired results and minimize anxiety.
\n
• Operate magnetic resonance systems and position equipment to demonstrate the area of interest.
\n
• Administer contrast media as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
\n
• Evaluate images for quality and manage them through picture archiving systems.
\n
• Maintain a clean work environment and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Associate's Degree from a JRCERT or JRCNMT accredited program required.
\n
• Two years of MRI experience required.
\n
• Certification as MRI Technologist from ARRT or ARMRIT upon hire required.
\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC within 90 days required.
\n
• Understanding of patient care and ability to address complex clinical issues.
\n
• Flexibility in managing and mentoring within established protocols.
\n
