We are seeking a professional and organized Office Manager to support the daily operations of a busy office in Washington, DC. This contract opportunity is ideal for a candidate with strong office management and administrative experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth office operations, coordinating administrative functions, supporting leadership, and serving as a key point of contact for employees, vendors, and visitors.

The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth office operations, coordinating administrative functions, supporting leadership, and serving as a key point of contact for employees, vendors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure an organized, efficient work environment.
- Manage office supplies, inventory, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate office maintenance, service requests, and workplace logistics.
- Provide administrative support to leadership and departmental teams.
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate conference rooms.
- Assist with onboarding activities and support employee office needs.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, mail distribution, and visitor reception.
- Maintain office records, files, and documentation.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and assist with basic reporting.
- Support special projects, events, and company initiatives as needed.
- 3+ years of office management, administrative, or operations experience.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience coordinating vendors, facilities, and office logistics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
- Experience supporting executives or leadership teams.
- Previous experience in a professional services, nonprofit, government, or corporate office environment.
- Familiarity with expense tracking, invoice processing, and office budgeting.
