Job Responsibilities- On-call schedule: 7 night shifts, either every other day or a full week of nights.
- Practice hours: Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Maximum of 10 consults per shift, managing 20 patients with support from Advanced Practice Providers (APP).
- 1 to 2 admissions each night and 1 surgical procedure per night.
- Provide acute neurosurgery call coverage for adult patients aged 16 and older.
- Required skills include capabilities in spine and cranial surgery.
- Prior experience in acute neurosurgery is essential.
- Familiarity with the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system is necessary.
