Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) at a specialized sterile compounding facility in North Las Vegas, NV. This direct hire position offers the chance to oversee regulatory compliance and operational excellence within a 503 A/B closed-door pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as designated PIC, ensuring adherence to USP <795>, USP <797>, FDA, and state board pharmacy regulations.
  • Manage sterile compounding workflows, personnel, and quality assurance programs.
  • Maintain compliance with multi-state pharmacy laws, including California and other non-resident states.
  • Develop, enforce, and update Standard Operating Procedures for sterile compounding.
  • Hire, supervise, and train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Lead pharmacy inspections, audits, and regulatory communications.
  • Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and documentation efforts.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations.
  • Collaborate on strategic operational initiatives, expansion, and licensing.
  • Maintain accurate records to support ongoing inspection readiness.

Qualifications:

  • PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Active pharmacist licenses in Nevada and California (or completion of CA licensure process).
  • Additional state licenses preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sterile compounding; prior PIC or pharmacy management experience strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of USP <797>, USP <795>, and sterile compounding regulations.
  • Experience with multi-state pharmacy operations and non-resident licensure requirements.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in 503A or 503B compounding environments is a plus.

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
