Openings available:
- 1 Resource SPED Teacher (middle school, grades 6-8)
- 1 Self-contained SPED Teacher (middle school, grades 6-8)
- 1 Self-contained SPED Teacher (elementary, grades K-5, Buckeye location, 2-month contract)
- 1 Self-contained SPED Teacher (elementary, grades K-5, Buckeye location)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday (no Fridays!), 7:30am–4:00pm, 36 hours/week, on-site only.
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Special Education license
- IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience with K-8 populations preferred
- Adaptability and strong communication skills
- Commitment to fostering supportive, inclusive classrooms
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction in either resource or self-contained settings
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Track and report student progress
- Cultivate an encouraging classroom environment
