- Elementary Autistic Support Teacher
- Middle School Learning Support Teacher
- Four High School Learning Support Teachers
Key qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate required by the start date (Emergency Permits sponsored if needed)
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with special needs
- Adaptability to different age groups (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to foster positive and inclusive classroom communities
Role responsibilities:
- Plan and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet diverse learner needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Incorporate differentiated instruction, behavioral supports, and assistive technology as appropriate
- Advocate for student success and inclusion within the school community
Scheduling details:
- 35 hours/week, contract runs from August 24, 2026 to June 10, 2027
- Elementary hours: 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
- Middle school hours: 7:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
- High school hours: 7:13 a.m. – 2:43 p.m.
