Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support student success within a dynamic Elementary school setting.
This contract position runs from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication and academic success throughout the school year. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, a compensation of $40–$45 per hour, and a caseload to be determined, this role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about collaboration, student-centered care, and helping children reach their full potential.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license required
- SLP-CCC preferred; SLP-CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience highly preferred
- Experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy services for school-aged children
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance classroom success
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
- Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for students’ communication needs
- Partner with families by providing resources, updates, and support strategies
