Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Strong collaboration skills—able to work effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with communication disorders
• Provide direct therapy to students, both individual and group, as outlined in IEPs
• Track progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding speech-language concerns
• Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Educate school community and advocate for students’ communication needs
• Respond flexibly to changing caseloads and school site assignments as needed
