Job Description
Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting young learners through impactful speech-language therapy services. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a rewarding contract opportunity, covering August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027. This position focuses on early intervention and foundational speech and language development for children between 18 months and 6 years of age, serving a manageable caseload of 40 students.
This role provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators and families, fostering communication skills that will shape students’ academic and social success. Candidates with experience in schools, CCC, pediatrics, or CFY are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous pediatric experience, preferably within school settings
- Deep understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and individualized intervention planning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and developmentally appropriate practices
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored speech-language therapy plans for early intervention clients
- Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups
- Maintain detailed documentation of interventions, progress, and outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing educational planning
- Provide family education and support to encourage practice and progress at home
