Your background in school-based speech therapy, along with your SLP-CCC credentials, will be essential as you help students reach their communication goals. Collaboration with educators and families will ensure each child receives individualized support tailored to their learning journey.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current, active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Licensed (or eligible to obtain licensure) as an SLP in California
  • Recent experience delivering SLP services within a school environment
  • Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals for effective interdisciplinary support
  • Provide input during IEP meetings to ensure cohesive goal-setting and communication strategies
