Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Indiana state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in schools, is preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, teachers, and other support staff
• Proficiency in collecting data, maintaining documentation, and utilizing therapy equipment and techniques

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess student abilities and recommend interventions to promote motor skills, mobility, and access to the educational environment
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and participation
• Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and state regulations
• Consult with school staff on accommodations, adaptive equipment, and strategies to increase student success and independence
