Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license (state requirements apply)
- Experience working in PreK-12 educational environments preferred
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, assessments, and developing intervention plans
- Strong communication, counseling, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
- Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to collaborative team processes
Core Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Develop and monitor intervention plans for academic, behavioral, or emotional needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for appropriate services
- Respond to crisis situations and support school-wide social-emotional initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines
