Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Expertise in assessment, data interpretation, and behavioral interventions
  • Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), 504 plans, and Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for referred students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and behavioral support plans
  • Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention
  • Support school-wide initiatives that foster positive student behavior and mental health
  • Offer consultation and professional guidance to school staff and families
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
