Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Expertise in assessment, data interpretation, and behavioral interventions
- Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), 504 plans, and Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for referred students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and behavioral support plans
- Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention
- Support school-wide initiatives that foster positive student behavior and mental health
- Offer consultation and professional guidance to school staff and families
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
