A contract opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist interested in working a full-time, onsite role within a dynamic urban high school setting. This position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering consistent hours each week. The district requires presence on campus for all 5 days, engaging directly with students, staff, and families to support a diverse school community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active School Psychologist certification/licensure required
  • Strong experience in school-based settings, preferably in urban environments
  • Comfortable conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments for high school students
  • Able to obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential—no accommodations for schedule flexibility
  • Must be available and onsite from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Comfortable with the location and district’s expectations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for special education eligibility and other student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective support and intervention plans
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support as needed
  • Prepare clear, detailed documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary teams
