Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid and active Connecticut School Psychologist license (required)
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Experience in the school setting strongly preferred
• Excellent assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
• Proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities

Position Details:

• Contract assignments, 35 hours per week
• Locations: Bristol Central High School (August 27, 2026 – March 2027) and West Bristol School (October 20, 2026 – January 18, 2027)
• Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, report writing, and delivery of evidence-based interventions
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
• Assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral plans
• Serve as a vital resource during Student Study Team and Response to Intervention meetings
• Respond to crisis situations and provide short-term counseling as needed
