Program Manager Needed!

Teachers Now is seeking an energetic and organized Program Manager to lead the daily operations of our substitute teacher program while recruiting and supporting exceptional substitute teachers. In this role, you'll help ensure classrooms stay staffed so students can continue learning every day.

Salary: Starting at $43,000 annually (based on education and experience)

What You'll Do

• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard substitute teachers.
\n
• Develop recruiting strategies using job boards, social media, referrals, job fairs, and community partnerships.
\n
• Manage daily substitute assignments and last-minute staffing needs using SmartFind Express.
\n
• Build strong relationships with substitute teachers and school administrators.
\n
• Track attendance, employee availability, and staffing metrics.
\n
• Verify payroll hours and maintain accurate personnel records.
\n
• Create training materials, handbooks, and recruiting resources.
\n
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and hiring requirements.
\n
• Program Managers support operational reporting and other program needs.
\n

Program Manager Requirements

\n
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
\n
• Two or more years of experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, operations, or program management.
\n
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Experience with Microsoft Office and scheduling, ATS, or payroll systems preferred.
\n
• Knowledge of hiring practices, I-9, E-Verify, and payroll processes is a plus.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Must pass a background check and fingerprint clearance.
\n

Schedule

\n
• On-site at our Central Office
\n
• Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
\n
• Occasional evenings, weekends, and local travel for recruiting events and school visits
\n
