We're looking for a dependable and organized Accounting Clerk to join one of our clients in Downtown Indianapolis. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, keeping records accurate, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Enter invoices, payments, and financial data accurately into accounting systems
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end activities
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Research and resolve billing or payment discrepancies
- Support accounting and finance teams with administrative tasks
- Assist with reporting and spreadsheet management using Excel
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar role
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
- Long Term Contract
- Full-time schedule, Monday-Friday
- Hybrid in Downtown Indianapolis
