Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Collections Specialist to join their team in the Castleton area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced collections or accounts receivable professional who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and helping resolve account issues in a professional and respectful manner.
The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing outstanding accounts, following up on past-due invoices, researching payment discrepancies, and partnering with customers and internal teams to drive timely payment resolution.

The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing outstanding accounts, following up on past-due invoices, researching payment discrepancies, and partnering with customers and internal teams to drive timely payment resolution.
Responsibilities
- Contact customers regarding past-due balances via phone and email.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account concerns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities and customer communications.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Collaborate with accounting, billing, and customer service teams to resolve account issues.
- Reconcile customer accounts and identify payment trends.
- Meet collection goals while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- 2+ years of collections, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
