Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Collections Specialist to join their team in the Castleton area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced collections or accounts receivable professional who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and helping resolve account issues in a professional and respectful manner.

The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing outstanding accounts, following up on past-due invoices, researching payment discrepancies, and partnering with customers and internal teams to drive timely payment resolution.

Responsibilities
  • Contact customers regarding past-due balances via phone and email.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account concerns.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities and customer communications.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Collaborate with accounting, billing, and customer service teams to resolve account issues.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and identify payment trends.
  • Meet collection goals while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of collections, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
