JOB DESCRIPTION

Day to Day / Overview
We are a tight-knit, highly reputable electrical contracting team backed by 30 years of industry experience. We are looking to add an experienced Electrician to help support our booming backlog of projects. In this role, you will travel from project to project, jumping right into the action on high-end residential sites. You will be an integral part of a dedicated crew that values reliability, high-quality work, and getting the job done efficiently so everyone can enjoy their weekends.

Responsibilities
• New Construction & Custom Builds: Perform complete electrical installations on large, high-end residential properties and custom homes.
• Remodeling Projects: Execute electrical work for residential remodeling and system upgrades.
• On-Site Independence: Manage day-to-day electrical tasks efficiently with minimal oversight, jumping directly into active job sites to keep projects moving forward.
• Field Travel: Travel daily between various residential project sites across the Northern Illinois territory.
• Occasional Commercial Support: Provide secondary support on minor commercial or industrial projects as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Professional Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven field experience as an electrician.
• Residential Focus: Solid background in residential electrical work, with a strong preference for new construction builds.
• Autonomy: Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and handle residential layouts independently without requiring basic apprentice training.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Custom Home Background: Previous experience working within custom home building trades.
• Wiring Specializations: General or specialized schooling/training in AC wiring.
• System Knowledge: Hands-on exposure to both AC and DC wiring configurations.
