ProCare Therapy is seeking two dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year in Milpitas, CA. These full-time opportunities offer the chance to support students with Extensive Support Needs (ESN) in a collaborative educational environment focused on student growth, independence, and success.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • Contract Dates: August 13, 2026 – June 8, 2027

  • Direct Student Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM

  • Prep time following student dismissal

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Education Specialist Credential with Moderate/Severe authorization required

  • Experience working with students with extensive support needs preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

  • Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and California state standards

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and classroom staff

  • Implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, and functional interventions

  • Support students' communication, social-emotional, academic, and daily living skills

  • Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

  • Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

Assignment Details:

  • TK–Kindergarten Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Classrooms

  • Moderate/Severe Program

  • 2026–2027 School Year
