Job Description
ProCare Therapy is seeking two dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year in Milpitas, CA. These full-time opportunities offer the chance to support students with Extensive Support Needs (ESN) in a collaborative educational environment focused on student growth, independence, and success.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time
Contract Dates: August 13, 2026 – June 8, 2027
Direct Student Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Prep time following student dismissal
Qualifications:
Valid California Education Specialist Credential with Moderate/Severe authorization required
Experience working with students with extensive support needs preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and California state standards
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and classroom staff
Implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, and functional interventions
Support students' communication, social-emotional, academic, and daily living skills
Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
