Seeking dynamic and dedicated professionals for three onsite roles as Evaluation Team Leaders (ETLs) to guide special education services for grades 6–8 throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. These positions are integral to ensuring exceptional support for students with special needs, coordinating key aspects of special education processes, and maintaining compliance with both federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee compliance with M.G.L. 71B and 603 CMR 28.00 Special Education Regulations
  • Act as liaison among families, principals, educators, and community agencies to ensure robust specialized services
  • Facilitate all meetings and paperwork coordination for the evaluation and placement of students requiring IEPs
  • Draft, review, and finalize IEPs for an assigned caseload
  • Participate in required professional development sessions provided by the Bureau of Pupil Services
  • Advise and collaborate with the Chief of Exceptional Learning & Related Services and building principals

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program; advanced coursework or professional study in special education, counseling, or psychology strongly preferred
  • Current Massachusetts certification as a Teacher for Students with Moderate Disabilities preferred; alternative certification/licensure considered (DESE or related field)
  • At least three years’ experience working in public school settings
  • Prior background working with multicultural populations and proven ability to communicate empathetically with students and adults
  • Active MA educator license (upload with application)
  • Must pass drug screen, CORI, and fingerprinting checks
