Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a part-time Physical Therapist supporting students across two vibrant educational communities. This role invites you to work with a diverse caseload of 11–15 students, delivering essential physical therapy services to help learners thrive academically and physically. Your schedule offers flexibility—work any three days per week, up to 18 hours, allowing for a truly balanced approach to your professional and personal commitments. The assignment begins August 24, 2026, and is designed with the potential to continue through the full year for the right candidate.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Skilled in providing A, B, and C grid services within educational environments
- Competence in independently managing a caseload without the need for PTA supervision
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Passion for promoting student independence and participation in school life
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions for students ages K–middle school across two buildings
- Assess, document, and report on student progress to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct, consultative, and collaborative services in accordance with IEP requirements
- Adapt and modify activities to support students’ access to education and school routines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals as needed
