As an Occupational Therapist in school-based settings, you will:

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, valid Occupational Therapy license in Florida
• Previous experience in a school environment or working with pediatric populations preferred
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and faculty
• Strong organizational abilities to manage a flexible, multi-site caseload
• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students at Lakeside Academy, Sabal Crest Academy, and Beachside High School
• Evaluate students to determine their therapy needs and develop individualized plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students’ educational achievement
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Promote student independence and participation in daily school routines

Position Details:

• Part-time, 3 days per week (24 hours total)
