Job Summary
The Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology procedures. This role requires strong experience in EP lab procedures, patient monitoring, and device support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in electrophysiology procedures including ablations and device implants
- Support Watchman procedures and cardiac device cases
- Monitor patient vitals and cardiac rhythms during procedures
- Prepare and maintain EP lab equipment
- Ensure sterile technique and patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians and EP lab team
- Adult cardiac patients
- Procedures include ablations, Watchman implants, and cardiac device procedures
- Minimum 2 years of EP lab experience Required
- NJ State License Required
- BLS Certification Required
- ACLS Certification Required
- Flu vaccination Required (no declinations accepted)
- Experience with ablations, Watchman, and cardiac devices
- Strong knowledge of electrophysiology procedures
- Cardiac rhythm monitoring
- EP lab equipment handling
- 4x10 hour shifts (Monday Thursday)
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- No holiday requirement
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
