Pay:

• $21.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

\n
• Assemble precision optical shutter assemblies and electromechanical components following engineering drawings and work instructions.
\n
• Perform hand soldering of fine wires, connectors, switches, and electronic components using precision soldering tools.
\n
• Build, align, and test optical shutter mechanisms requiring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
\n
• Conduct visual inspections and functional testing to ensure products meet quality standards.
\n
• Use microscopes, calipers, tweezers, and other precision measuring equipment during assembly.
\n
• Follow ESD procedures, cleanroom protocols, and safety requirements while handling sensitive optical and electronic components.
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
\n
• Document production activities, inspections, and testing results accurately.
\n
• Troubleshoot assembly issues, perform rework as needed, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement initiatives.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Experience with hand soldering and precision assembly preferred.
\n
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
\n
• Experience working with small components under a microscope is a plus.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
\n
• Experience in manufacturing, electronics, medical devices, aerospace, or optics is preferred.
\n
• Professional demeanor and teamwork mindset.
\n
