Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Client Location: Knoxville, Tennessee, United States of America, 37920

Expected Duration: 12 Months contract with possibility of extension

Pay: $20 hr on w2

Job Type: Onsite role

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, and management of materials, supplies and equipment.
• Receives and prepares incoming materials for input into inventory.
• Verifies the quantity and condition of materials. Loads/unloads boxes, pallets, etc. onto truck for delivery.
• Prepares records of goods shipped and received, maintains accurate inventory count and resolves discrepancies via appropriate computer program.
• Sorts and places materials on rack or shelves according to predetermined sequence. Assists in performing physical inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels.
• Utilizes appropriate method of identification for labeling materials; i.e. bar codes.
• May prepare parcels for mailing or pallets for outbound shipping.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and work area, which may include basic janitorial duties.
• Able to accommodate rushed and established Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Basic Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Zero to one year of related experience

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Skills/Experience:

- Ability to understand basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

- Basic reading, writing, and organizational skills

- Computer experience in Word and Excel preferred

- Ability to work as part of a team
