Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a registered MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
• Valid state licensure (as applicable)
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and performing scans
• In-depth understanding of MRI safety protocols for patients, staff, and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring clear interaction with patients and colleagues
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate MRI scans according to physician orders and ensure the highest quality imaging
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns for a comfortable experience
• Maintain patient safety and privacy at every stage of the imaging process
• Screen and position patients appropriately, following strict safety guidelines
• Monitor imaging results, identify technical issues, and troubleshoot as necessary
• Process images timely for radiologist review and assist with recordkeeping/documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless workflow and continuous patient care
