Outpatient Pharmacist - Richfield Springs, New York

Provide expert outpatient pharmacy services as a Part Time Float Pharmacist across multiple locations in New York. This contract position offers the flexibility to cover shifts at three retail outpatient pharmacies, supporting vacation and sick coverage needs with potential for increased hours based on performance and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in a high-volume retail outpatient setting
• Float between Cooperstown, Oneonta, and Delhi sites, adapting to each location’s workflow
• Provide immunizations and support the Meds to Beds program for hospital patients
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy management software and EPIC EMR for patient and insurance information
• Deliver excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Cover occasional Saturday shifts from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Oneonta location

Desired Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy environments required; high-volume dispensing preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx and EPIC systems highly desired
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain promptly
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to outstanding customer service
• Flexibility to float between multiple locations within the region
• Availability for part time coverage, with potential for full-time expansion

Schedule:

• Primarily Monday through Friday hours at each location, with occasional Saturdays at Oneonta
