Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Special Education Teachers to provide vital support to students for the 2026-2027 school year. These contracted positions are full time (37.5 hours per week) and begin August 19, 2026, through May 27, 2027. Multiple placements are open, including roles in a High School SSN Center (Significant Support Needs), an Elementary SSN Center, and an Elementary ASD Center, all located near Golden, CO.

This role is ideal for dedicated educators seeking a collaborative, contractor-friendly environment. You will benefit from the guidance of a supportive agency and recruiter, along with robust district resources. Compensation for these W2 hourly contract positions ranges from $39-$45 per hour.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SPED Generalist license required in Colorado
  • Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and interventions tailored to students’ needs in SSN or ASD programs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
  • Create positive, inclusive classroom environments fostering growth and achievement
