Make a real difference in students’ lives by supporting their growth and development in special education classrooms. Several energetic and committed Special Education Teachers are needed for contract roles covering elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2026-2027 school year. These positions are based conveniently near Easton, PA, offering specialized opportunities in Autistic Support (elementary) and Learning Support (middle and high school).

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate (required by start date; HR can assist with emergency permit sponsorship)
  • Experience teaching special education students preferred
  • Knowledge of individualized educational planning (IEP) and strategies for diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to various grade levels and classroom environments

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized lesson plans to address student needs within Autistic Support (elementary) or Learning Support settings (middle/high school)
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records/documentation
  • Collaborate with families, general education teachers, support staff, and administration to foster student success
  • Maintain a positive, structured, and compassionate classroom climate
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational evaluations and goals
  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements

Contract Details:

  • Full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Single contract runs August 24, 2026 through June 10, 2027
  • Positions include varied schedules based on grade assignments:
    • Elementary: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
    • Middle: 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM
    • High: 7:13 AM – 2:43 PM
