Job Description

Several energetic and committed Special Education Teachers are needed for contract roles covering elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2026-2027 school year. These positions are based conveniently near Easton, PA, offering specialized opportunities in Autistic Support (elementary) and Learning Support (middle and high school).
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate (required by start date; HR can assist with emergency permit sponsorship)
- Experience teaching special education students preferred
- Knowledge of individualized educational planning (IEP) and strategies for diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to various grade levels and classroom environments
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized lesson plans to address student needs within Autistic Support (elementary) or Learning Support settings (middle/high school)
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records/documentation
- Collaborate with families, general education teachers, support staff, and administration to foster student success
- Maintain a positive, structured, and compassionate classroom climate
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational evaluations and goals
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
Contract Details:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Single contract runs August 24, 2026 through June 10, 2027
- Positions include varied schedules based on grade assignments:
- Elementary: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
- Middle: 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM
- High: 7:13 AM – 2:43 PM
