ProCare Therapy is partnering with a supportive school district in Bay City, Texas, to hire a contracted full-time Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year!
With a self-contained classroom*and a manageable caseload of just 10 students, this position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, provide individualized instruction, and help students achieve their fullest potential in a structured, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities
Deliver individualized, standards-based instruction in a self-contained classroom
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Differentiate instruction to meet each student's unique academic, behavioral, and functional needs
Create a structured, positive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence
Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and positive behavior supports
Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
Active Texas Special Education Teaching Certification
Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Experience in self-contained or specialized instructional settings preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
