Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist for the entire 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 2:20 pm) focuses exclusively on supporting high school students. Your expertise will be essential in fostering student well-being and academic growth through a variety of responsibilities that make a tangible difference.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or relevant state licensure required
  • Proven experience working in high school settings is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting student evaluations and assessments
  • Familiarity with participating in CSE (Committee on Special Education) and 504 meetings
  • Demonstrated counseling skills with adolescents
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to be an effective member of an instructional support team
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations to identify students' cognitive, social, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Provide one-on-one and group counseling tailored to high school students
  • Actively participate in CSE and 504 meetings to help develop and review student learning plans
  • Work closely with the instructional support team to create strategies promoting student achievement and well-being
  • Serve as a trusted resource for students, staff, and families facing academic or socio-emotional challenges
