Physical Therapist - School Setting in Tieton, WA
Job Description
Make a difference in the life of a student through focused, individualized support as a Physical Therapist in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity near Tieton, WA, is designed for professionals who thrive on delivering targeted interventions that make a lasting impact. You’ll have the chance to work closely with one student, providing expert care through three 15-minute sessions each month (totaling 45 minutes monthly).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid State Physical Therapy license required
- Experience or interest in school-based PT services
- Understanding of pediatric therapy needs and IEP processes
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly PT sessions tailored to a specific student’s needs
- Implement and adjust interventions to help the student reach physical, academic, and functional goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with educational standards
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists for coordinated care
- Provide resources and education to support the student’s progress beyond therapy sessions
