Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current teaching certification with Special Education endorsement
- Experience working with students who have IEPs or diverse learning disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Comfortable using technology and various instructional methods to engage students
- Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and effectively
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and delivering instructional lessons tailored to individual student requirements
- Developing, maintaining, and monitoring IEPs
- Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure optimal learning outcomes
- Assessing student progress and adjusting strategies as necessary
- Creating a safe and encouraging classroom atmosphere
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with all reporting requirements
