Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as an Educational Diagnostician for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite role will be based at a junior high campus serving 7th and 8th graders. You'll collaborate closely with school teams to ensure students receive the evaluations and services they need for academic success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and active Educational Diagnostician Endorsement (verification required)
- Previous experience conducting educational assessments within a school environment
- Proficiency administering standardized educational diagnostic tools
- Strong knowledge of special education policies, procedures, and compliance
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a large caseload efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Administer educational assessments for students in grades 7 and 8
- Attend ARD meetings—collaborating with an onsite ARD facilitator
- Develop comprehensive evaluation reports and participate in eligibility determinations
- Provide expertise and recommendations to school teams regarding students’ educational needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by district and state guidelines
- Consult with staff and families to support the unique learning requirements of each student
