Registered Nurse School Setting - Lynn, MA

Step into an impactful nursing role supporting K-12 students as a float nurse in a dynamic school environment near Lynn, MA. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, through June 18, 2027, and requires dedication to a consistent onsite schedule of 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. As a valued contributor, you'll travel between campuses—all conveniently situated within a 6-mile radius—to provide essential care and coverage where needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN or LPN license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing
• Previous experience in a school-based nursing role is essential
• Familiarity with K-12 school healthcare needs
• Reliable transportation for daily travel between local campuses
• Ability to commit to the required schedule with no accommodations
• Comfort functioning independently and engaging with diverse age groups
• Completion of fingerprinting and CORI clearance prior to start
• Ability to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive health services to students across multiple school campuses
• Respond to acute medical needs, manage chronic conditions, administer medication, and provide first aid
• Accurately document assessments and care provided
• Communicate effectively with school staff, families, and district health personnel
• Promote a healthy, safe school environment and public health education
