Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid Illinois state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong candidates from clinical backgrounds are welcome
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and individualize therapy approaches

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on student progress and intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and IEP compliance
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide support initiatives
  • Engage students in innovative, evidence-based activities to foster their communication abilities
