Operations Coordinator
Job Description
This is a PERMANENT Placement / DIRECT HIRE Opportunity. Hotel and/or Concierge Experience PREFERRED.
POSITION SUMMARY
Operations Coordinator works directly with the Director of Operations in maintaining a safe, clean and secure building to help the overall guest experience as per our organizational mission. The Operations Coordinator serves as point of contact for any issues that arise during their shift by managing the facility and property after hours, weekends, and holidays.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Check guest families into facility by confirming reservation in the system
Act as the first point of contact for any issues that may arise during a scheduled shift including any emergency situations.
Ensure safety and security of families by working with the Security Team and MPD
Restocking Family pantries, coffee area, and grab and go refrigerators
Receive and process all incoming donations, mail and deliveries to House, and fill in the form on the App
Scheduled safety walks to ensure all building systems are operating normally and promptly address any issues that are discovered
Log and follow up on all maintenance issues reported and observed during walk-through of the House
Maintain all family information as private and confidential
Address families’ needs with prompt and appropriate actions and pass along to Family Services when needed.
Exercise good judgement in decision-making and managing multiple areas simultaneously while knowing when to report issue to Manager to escalate
Maintain a positive and professional attitude with families, staff, donors, and volunteers
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Services, Hospitality Services, or other related field preferred.
Two (2) to Five (5) years relevant work experience
Experience in working with diverse populations
Knowledge of MS office suite & Basic Computer knowledge
Basic Maintenance and/or Hotel Concierge knowledge a plus
Strong communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle difficult situations with confidence and compassion
COMPENSATION
This is a full-time salary exempt position. In addition, this position is eligible for medical, dental, 401 (k) and paid time off (PTO) benefits. Compensation depends on experience.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 per year
