Registered Respiratory Therapist – Nights

This is a 12-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our respiratory care team during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have robust pediatric and NICU experience and also be competent in adult care environments.

Responsibilities

\n
• Provide critical care respiratory therapy to patients of all age groups.
\n
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients, ensuring optimal respiratory therapy and care.
\n
• Utilize special equipment such as Maquet Servo i, Draeger V500, and various ventilation modalities.
\n
• Conduct assessments and administer necessary therapies as per patient care plans.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Floating between NICU and adult care settings as needed.
\n
• Participate in emergency response situations within the facility.
\n

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with strong pediatric and NICU exposure.
\n
• Valid RN License (MD or Compact) at the time of submission.
\n
• Certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required.
\n
• Experience with critical care respiratory therapy procedures and equipment is essential.
\n
• Experience with all patient age groups is mandatory.
\n
• Charge experience is preferred but not required.
\n
