Job Summary

We are seeking a Secret Cleared Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and sustainment of mission-critical equipment and facilities in a secure government environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational setting. Relevant maintenance technician responsibilities and qualifications were found in internal maintenance technician job descriptions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and diagnostics to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Document maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and work orders accurately.
  • Support installation, modification, and integration of new equipment and systems.
  • Maintain compliance with safety procedures, security requirements, and company policies.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
  • Coordinate with engineers, operators, and other technicians to support mission objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • High School Diploma or GED; technical training or military maintenance experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance, field service, industrial maintenance, aviation maintenance, or related technical work.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or control systems.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments, including elevated or confined spaces when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Military maintenance experience.
  • Experience supporting DoD, defense, aerospace, or government programs.
  • Familiarity with CMMS/work order management systems.
  • Experience with PLCs, automation systems, or electronic controls.
  • Technical certification (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, HVAC, etc.).
