Commercial Employees is hiring Construction / General Laborer for a Construction Company in New Alexandria. This role involves hands-on work helping to build houses and structures on private property. If you’re reliable and ready to work, we want to hear from you.
* Driver's License and valid auto insurance is required for this position *
Construction / General Laborer Pay & Schedule:
- $18 per hour
- Weekly pay
- 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 AM start
- Typical end time between 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
- Overtime available
Construction / General Laborer Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.
- Ability to use a tape measure
- Comfortable with physical labor (standing, bending, kneeling, climbing)
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Construction / General Laborer Responsibilities:
- Use power equipment including table saws & drills
- Heavy lifting required
- Use of scaffolding on occasion
- Carpentry & Masonry skills are a plus!
- Experience with drywall & framing preferred
- Remove and handle materials safely
- Set up and maintain safe work sites
- Move equipment and contents as needed
- Support cleaning and framing work
