Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license for K-6 or PK-3
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-age students in a resource setting
• Ability to adapt curriculum, implement IEPs, and accommodate varying learning needs
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork with colleagues, families, and service providers
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver small group or individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEPs in a resource classroom
• Assess academic progress, monitor development, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff, and administrators
• Develop and adjust instructional materials to meet diverse student needs
• Communicate regularly with families regarding goals, progress, and strategies for success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input on student growth and program planning

Role Details:

• Full-time contract: 35 hours per week
• Full school year commitment, working with elementary students in a resource setting
