School Speech Language Pathologist - Mckinney, Texas

Step into a full-time contract role as an elementary Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is based in a vibrant educational environment near McKinney, TX, where your expertise will empower roughly 40 young learners to reach their communication milestones. You will provide both direct and indirect speech-language services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and play a pivotal part in the IEP process for elementary students.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Proven experience supporting elementary school-age children within a school setting
• Strong skills in speech-language evaluation, documentation, and IEP development
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week); part-time is not offered
• Reliable transportation to the onsite campus

As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting student assessments and comprehensive speech-language evaluations
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals in partnership with special education staff
• Providing individualized and group therapy tailored for elementary students
• Maintaining clear, timely documentation and progress reports
• Collaborating regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
